Behavior Of Radio Waves

November 14, 2009 | Filed Under 4G, Wi-Fi, features, guides, networking | 1 Comment

There are two different concepts of radio waves behavior which are given below such as Gain, Loss.

Here are some simple concepts that are necessary to your understanding of RF and hence your ability to design, installs, and administers your wireless network. You need to understand the concept of gain, loss, reflection, refraction, diffraction, scattering, absorption, and free space loss.

Gain

Gain describes an increase in a radio frequency signal’s amplitude. Usually, gain is an active process. This means that you can use an external power source (such as an antenna) to amplify a signal, or you can use a high-gain antenna to focus the beam width of a signal to increase its amplitude.

What is Bluetooth

Bluetooth is a short-range radio link which enables devices to communicate Bluetoothbetween them in the speed of 2.45 GHz ISM band. All of the transmissions are synchronized to the timeslot of 625 microseconds and controlled by one Bluetooth device called as master devices so there is also concept of master and slave devices. There is another concept of Bluetooth that there is about seven slave devices which can be communicate with a piconet. They can share same channels with the help of single piconet at same time. Bluetooth uses the shaped binary frequency modulation with a symbol rate of 1 Ms/s. All the slave devices are addressed by a master device.

Fourth Generation – 4G

October 18, 2009 | Filed Under 4G, Wi-Fi, features, guides, wireless | Leave a Comment

We know that wireless communication 4th generation is the next step after the deployment of the 3rd generation technology and after some years it the 3rd generation will hide as like the 2nd generation was hidden before. It supposed that after some years it totally replace the 3g system with 4g wireless communication system. Now the frequency bandwidth is going up to 2Mb/s and this race will be continue due to new technologies in the wireless communication. If we talk about 4G many of computer scientists have different ideas about this generation and have not deep knowledge or it can be say that they have no judgment of the future. So it can’t say anything that when the 4G infrastructure will be deployed in the future may it takes more than ten year.
